One Simple Truth
Hide IN the Lord, not FROM the Lord.
Scripture
Psalm 32:1 ESV (Read the Full Chapter Here)
Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
David, the Psalmist, was well aware of his sin. As the Psalm progresses he speaks of the inner agony he felt in hiding his sin. Praise God for His hand of conviction. He loves you too much to let you be comfortable in your sin. When we find ourselves in the place of conviction, may we take the step that David took. The God he hid from, became the God he ran to. Hide IN the Lord, not FROM the Lord. You, like David, will be met with forgiveness for what is past and grace for what is ahead.
Prayer
Lord, I run to You today. Thank You for your hand of conviction. Forgive me of where I fall short. Strengthen me to walk in Your way. Never allow me to be comfortable in sin. In Jesus name, amen.
