Outweighed

One Simple Truth
God’s goodness will always outweigh our worthiness.

When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, 4 what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?

All that God created, land, water, vegetation, sky, animals, the sun, moon, and stars, He created as a stage for the flourishing of mankind. On one side of the scale the psalmist places the majesty of the Father displayed in His creative work. On the other, he places fragile and defiant humanity; himself included. The scales don’t add up. They’re not meant to. God’s goodness will always outweigh our worthiness.

Prayer
Lord of heaven and earth, today I stand in awe of Your goodness. May my life bring You honor and help display to others Your goodness. In Jesus name, amen.
